Cascarita Súper Star

Privacy Policy and Terms of Use

Last updated: August 4, 2026

This document explains what information the mobile app Cascarita Súper Star ("the App") collects, how it is used, and what rights you have over your data. The App is an independent project developed by a single developer, with no profit motive beyond a symbolic one-time download price — this notice is written in plain language, without formal legal counsel, appropriate for a project of this size.

1. Who processes your data

The App is developed and operated by Edgar Aguilar, an independent developer. For any question about this notice or your data, you can write to: edgarsalvadoraguilar@gmail.com.

2. What information is collected

Account data

Content you create inside the App

What is NOT collected

3. What this information is used for

Exclusively to operate the App's functionality: organizing groups, managing players, generating balanced teams, and notifying you of relevant activity within your groups. It is not used for advertising, sold, or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

4. Who it is shared with

Data is stored using Google Firebase infrastructure (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore). Google acts as an infrastructure provider under its own security and privacy policies — see the Firebase Privacy Policy.

The App has a one-time download cost, charged directly by Google Play — the developer never receives or stores your card or payment method data.

No information is shared with any other third party.

5. How long your data is kept

Deletion by you, at any time: from Settings → Account you can permanently delete your account. This removes your profile, your membership in each group, and transfers or deletes groups as applicable (if you were the only admin of a group, the group is deleted too).

Deletion due to inactivity: accounts with no sign-in for 12 consecutive months may be deleted along with their associated data (groups, players, notifications), following the same admin-transfer logic as manual deletion. This is a declared data-retention policy; if it is automated via a scheduled process, this notice will be updated with more technical detail.

6. Security

Access to data is protected by Firestore security rules that restrict reading and writing based on your role within each group (owner, admin, or member) — no one outside your groups can see your information.

7. Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children of that age. If you believe a minor has shared information with the App, contact us to have it removed.

8. Your rights

9. Terms of use (summary)

10. Changes to this notice

This notice may be updated as the App evolves (for example, when automatic inactivity-based deletion is implemented). The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
